Is Free actually free?

Yes. Download, chat on your device, attach documents, and use Roles without paying us. Free is not a trial with a countdown. It is a real tier with a real limit: 8,192 tokens of context in total. When that is gone, you keep your history. You just need Pro to keep going.

What happens when my context budget runs out?

You cannot start a new chat or continue an existing one until you upgrade. Nothing is deleted. Your conversations stay on your phone or iPad. Pro lifts the cap and gives each chat room to grow up to one million tokens.

What am I really paying for with Pro?

Memory that can last months in one thread. Unlimited projects and documents. Voice you can speak to and listen to. Vision for photos and scans. Encrypted sync across your Apple devices. Full import from other assistants. You are not renting cloud compute. You are unlocking headroom on hardware you already own.

Monthly or yearly?

Same Pro features either way. Yearly works out lower per month and suits people who already know SimpleLM fits their life. Monthly is fine if you want to try Pro without a longer commitment. Apple bills you through your Apple ID either way.

Question 5

Can I cancel anytime?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Subscriptions renew through Apple until you turn them off. Cancel in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. You keep Pro until the current period ends, then you return to Free limits. We never hold your chats hostage.

Question 6

Who sees my payment details?

Accepted Answer

Apple, not us. We learn only whether your Apple ID has an active Pro entitlement so the app can unlock features. We do not receive your card number or billing address.

One subscription for all my devices?

Yes, tied to your Apple ID. Install SimpleLM on each iPhone or iPad you use. Pro features follow the subscription. iCloud Sync is optional and keeps conversations aligned when you want the same brain on two screens.

I already pay for ChatGPT. Why SimpleLM?

Different bargain. Cloud assistants rent you intelligence on their servers and remember you on their terms. SimpleLM runs on your device, keeps context with the chat, and does not need an audience for your notes. Some people use both. Pro is for when privacy and long memory on your own hardware matter more than the biggest model on someone else’s.
